This machine provides the following performance and features: | |||
1) With the semi-auto-tuning function, the control parameters are automatically calculated and set during testing. It allows high precision testing without bothering to specify test methods. (This function has been confirmed to work properly in the stress control for the concrete specimens. For some special materials, manual adjustment of the control parameters may be required.) | |||
2) The force display is a large-sized digital LCD (10.4”). An analog indicator is also provided, bringing superior visibility of the change of force. | |||
3) The force measurement is based on the cylinder internal pressure measured by the high-precision pressure cell. This pressure cell provides quick response, enabling accurate measurement of the force applied to a specimen. Furthermore, thanks to rangeless measurement, no amplifier range setting is required. This allows data sampling with a suitable condition even for a specimen whose hardness is uncertain. | |||
4) The control unit can correspond to a high experimental method at once as equipping various control mode with a standard. As passing up to this time, the manual test to use a load control knob also is practicable. | |||

1. Foundation work | |||
The foundation work for installation of this Testing Machine must be conducted by the user, according to the foundation work reference drawing presented by SHIMADZU Corporation. | |||
2. Power Supply Wiring Work | |||
Provide a distribution board on the wall of the room where this Testing Machine is to be installed, and provide a switch with the following capacity. The piping and wiring work is executed from the distribution panel to the machine installation shown in the foundation work reference drawings by the user. | |||
The above work must be conducted by the user. Power supply 3-phase 200-220V 60Hz/ 200V 50Hz approx. 7.0kVA Grounding Grounding resistance of 100 ohm or less. (NOTE: For using a personal computer, a power supply is additionally required.) |

3. Plumbing | |||
To use the optional hydraulic fluid cooling unit, water supply and drainage plumbing must be conducted according to the following conditions, at the position shown in the foundation work reference drawing. 4. Environment conditions | |||
Test machines are generally factory-assembled. In principle the machine is delivered in a complete from and installed in site. | |||
